Also in 2023, the UNFOLDED Festival will be the most exciting get-together for creative people, designers, brands and paper fans from all over the world. In addition to the 200 best print objects from the renowned Gmund Award, Gmund Paper presents over 50 international companies from the areas of design, printing, branding and materiality at the UNFOLDED Show.

The UNFOLDED Festival 2023 is all about “People Centric” – people are the focus of all corporate decisions. Well-known keynote speakers and panel discussions with top-class participants will illuminate this complex topic from a wide variety of perspectives. All in all, the guests can look forward to a day full of food for thought, new perspectives and creative input. The special location in the historic stables of Gut Kaltenbrunn has the most beautiful view of Lake Tegernsee and guarantees a wide view.  //

UNFOLDED IN THE PAST

With a focus on "Consumer Centric", the UNFOLDED Festival took place for the second time on the "Gmund Campus" on October 23 and 24, 2019.

 

The Design and Print Festival attracted 1,200 visitors from all over the world to the Mangfall Valley, where Gmund Paper once again presented itself in an unusual setting, directly where its products are manufactured, as the host for creative people, designers, and print and mediaspecialists.

Generalist and designer. Visionary with a strong business sense. designers. But not just any. Leads all BMW Group design teams. BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce - these brands and many more bear his signature. And that for 10 years. Understands design as part of the big picture, not as a self-sufficient discipline.

 

First and foremost, design must arouse emotions. But: life also goes on in the car. Ergo, it has to connect with the other products surrounding the customer in every way - creatively and literally. That's Adrian van Hooydonk's philosophy – and Consumer Centric gets right to the point.

A huge success: With a focus on the topic "Consumer Centric", the UNFOLDED Festival took place for the second time on October 23rd and 24th, 2019 at the "Gmund Campus".

On the occasion of the design and print festival, Gmund Paper attracted 1,200 visitors from all over the world to the Mangfalltal and once again presented itself in an unusual ambience, right on the pulse of the product, as a host for creative people, designers as well as print and media specialists.

 

The festival offered a full program for two days. In addition to the 400 best print objects from the renowned Gmund Award, which takes place on 23.10. was awarded for the sixth time, 52 international exhibitors from the fields of design, printing, branding and materiality showed their skills in the halls of the paper production.

Eight top-class speakers, among them the chief designer at BMW, Adrian van Hooydonk and  Benedikt Böckenförde, founder and CEO of Visual Statements, shed light on the complex core topic "Consumer Centric" from a wide variety of perspectives and provided the guests with many new perspectives and  creative input. 

 

A panel discussion with Steffi Czerny, co-founder and managing director of DLD Media, rounded off the program in the paper mill's conference hall. Florian Zibert, founder of Zibert + Friends consulting GmbH, skilfully guided through the program.
